This course is designed for students who are interested in a career in health care but would like to learn more information. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a great entry point into learning about health care as well as a useful, life-saving skill. We spend the morning talking about the science of CPR, take a short break for lunch, then spend the afternoon completing the American Heart Association CPR certification course. At the end of the course you will have a basic understanding of the anatomy and physiology of cardiac arrest and earn certification in CPR by the American Heart Association.
