America to drop off some papers for his boss, Wall Street tycoon Elisha J. Whitney, and say goodbye to his friend, night club singer, Reno Sweeney, he finds Hope is a passenger on the ship, and is going to marry Englishman, Lord Oakleigh, upon arrival in England.

Mad with love, Billy stows away on the S.S. America. With the help of Reno and Public Enemy Number 13, “Moonface” Martin, Billy hopes to persuade Hope to marry him, and not Lord Oakley.
